Does this bother anyone else?

I know this is petty but, it urks me all to hell every time I saw the packaging for the store bought GBCostume.

The guy doesn’t even hold it right. It bugs me so much. Anyone else?

LOL.

I never noticed it. He is holding it like a gun.

My girlfriend was showing me one of the female GB costumes at a halloween store, that also includes a mini rubber proton pack, and when I looked at the picture on the cover of the package, I noticed that the girl in the picture was wearing it upside-down…not cool!!!

Lol. She’s retarded.

EDIT: They need to have an officially licensed Ghost Head at these shoots, too make sure people are holding, wearing, and using the costumes right.

LOL, “Bra-busters”! …sorry, I couldn’t help myself!

Yeah, I agree!

I’m ok with that.

I think as a whole, my pack and other equipment looks great but here’s the thing. last year, after halloween i decided to be a GB for 2008 and bought that exact jump suit for about 4 bucks on clearance. the men’s jumpsuit by the way! not the ladies…i just don’t have the legs. anyways, will that crappy suit bring down the overall quality of my set up, or will I be ok. being a laughing stock…it’s not me.

Fellas,

If you (a.) noticed the upside down pack on the girl and (b.) actually are bothered that the costume makers designed the costume as such, then you really need to get out more often.

that kinda what i was thinkin

HA i noticed both the guy holding it wrong and the dumb ■■■■■ wearing it upside down…whats better is my girlfriend was looking at the actual costume and the pack it comes with is about 8 inches tall and 3 inches wide. its re re re re reeeeeeeeeeetarded. and for the record i cant wait pass random dudes wearing those store costumes… itll make me totally not care about all the minor mistakes on my gear… my girlfriend IS however gonna be rockin the ■■■ gb getup … but i spray painted my old toy pack black, cut the front half off, attatched it to a small black rectangular backpack so we can smuggle booze around

I was only talking about the first one.

Now that’s the spirit!! Awesome idea! Just be careful man…

What bothers me more is his razor stubble that looks like it was painted on like Dolph Lundgren in the original Punisher movie. This picture gives me ■■■■■■ chills.

not only did i notice the upside down pack but i never even saw booty until the next day when a friend told me there was a butt below the pack, when i was complaining about it

I guess this would be a bad time to say that I bought that costume for the jumpsuit (do to limited money and time) and my girlfriend got the other one. With all my time and money devoted to the pack, the suit took a back seat.

I’ll make sure she wears the pack the correct way, though.

I hate to say it, but I recently purchased both costumes, along with a girls Freddy costume. I bought the guys set for the blowup pack because I didnt think I was going to have a real one for Halloween. Turns out I bought a fellow members pack on ebay last week. Gjustis is his name. Awesome guy to deal with. My girlfriend wasnt sure which one to wear but it looks like shes leaning towards Freddy. Maybe next year. lol

To be honest the last thing I looked at was the pack… infact, what pack?

^ Agreed, who the heck is looking at the pack?

Anyhow, lets all not forget that we are all spending a bit more time, effort and cash into a halloween costume (or general prop for that matter) than most people do.

Remember that for most, they walk into the store, browse the selection, pick one out.

Which is what I did. Except that even if I wasnt building a replica proton pack, I dont think I’d be caught dead wearing that inflatable monster. It looks even worse in person, trust me.

They aren’t that bad.

Since I will not be able to start my pack/blower till after halloween, i am going out to get one today.

The pack isnt bad and the suit is ok. The wand on the other hand is really really bad. You really cant even hold it out straight because it flops around (the barrel section doesnt inflate to hold rigidity).

Just an FYI.
