Got the dual sound system installed on my pack motherboard this weekend.

I should’ve had the constant background Hum playing on chip #2 instead of the music. Dur.. But you get the idea.
Also while filming I had the music chip connected to the “IN” on the amp using a jumper to test it out versus WIN. The sound came through much cleaner with better bass through “IN”. So after filming I moved the effects chip over and it sounds a lot better than it does in the video.
Also, having the shell on really makes it sound good too. Good rumble from effects and the amps can crank the volume up to 11.
Here’s some pics I took before adding the Cat5 Surface mount box. That’ll be used to run wires to the thrower.
Two 3v battery cases power the sound chips and one 12v battery pack powers the amps and eventual light kit. Each amp and it’s respective battery source is wired to a DPST rocker switch so I can turn on/off an individual amp. The 12v is also wired to a 3rd rocker for turning pack lights power on/off.
Still have plans to add a rotary switch that’ll be used to select a music track, which will be activated by a toggle on the thrower.
I hot glued all the wires in place to keep 'em tidy and from rattling.
With my thrower pretty much completed I had to hook it up for a test drive.
Might need to turn up the volume to hear it.
The lower thrower body switch of a on-off-on switch and toggles the background audio tracks on the 2nd sound chip. Up is on, down is “stop all tracks”. A momentary push button on the motherboard all triggers the track. Audio selection is controlled by a rotary switch on the motherboard. One selection is all the stop all tracks in case I have the gun holstered and need to use the push button.
