There it is! i finished my Kenner Ecto 1 Replica, im happy of the result. I really enjoyed built it. I think he is fairly accurate with the toy proportion, Feel free if you have any comments or question, that kind of project is never totally done but for now i thinks its good that way if i forgot something just tell me!
The other Kenner on the pix will be convert in a Ecto 1A, i should start it soon… at least rebuilt the body and paint it before the snow falls.

Yah it could be very cool in front of the firehouse.. i regret soo much to sold mine when i was a teen… Im thinking buying the 4 figures and do mini props like venkmanjedi did, his mini props are very awsome.
The Ecto 1A will be another big project, only the light bar is a problem, i must start thinking about it right now lol.

wow…that is great…i was just thinking that you should do mini props for the figs when i read your post haha…arent you gonna do the silver strip on the top of the fins.
I’ve got a firehouse project in the works. And since we are on the topic of the firehouse, the only draw back to this beauty of an Ectomobile Spengler created is that it will never fit through the front door of the toy. Now that doesn’t detract from the beauty of this car in any way, you just wouldn’t be able to do a roll out, if you play with your toys that is.
Good question, On some ecto pix i saw the fins was chromed only at the rear of the fins… but other they have the chrome line at the top… but definitely i think i should paint all the strip… good point thx dude
