Ok today I took some time to forget about projects and focus on bookkeeping, as it needed much attention… This allowed me some time to get everything in order…
Ok I’ll start off with the real good news! New lower shipping rates on my small items, this includes my light kits!
Yippee for the Post Office that generally raises prices but this time around they actually lowered my price! Anyway while shipping some light kits this week the friendly Postal Guy that I have known for about 20 years (yeah it’s been a long time) told me about a new flat rate box they just started to offer… It’s the same size box I used to ship my kits in, but recently I have been using a slightly larger one just because it made no difference in price… So anyway back to the new smaller box it’s a flat rate box… Now I like to cover Paypal fees and bubble wrap cost and I almost always get insurance, if not I assume insurance liability, so there is about a $2 upcharge over actual cost of postage to cover the additional fees, anyway the new shipping rates for light kits are…
One kit in the US $7 postage
Two or more kits in the US $13
One kit to Canada $13
Two or more kits $24
One kit to the rest of World $15
Two or more kits $28
For multiple kit orders it sucks because the normal rates kick back in so I don’t get a combined shipping discount, you get screwed in that regard… But for single kits it’s a big difference and a welcome relief especially for the International orders…
On to other projects…
Except for the most recent (this week) light kit orders to the best of my knowledge all kits are shipped and on the way… If you have any concerns please PM me…
Heatsinks, I had some extras that I offered up to people that contacted me about them after the Ebay auctions… I will take full blame for not getting those out sooner but they should all be in the mail first thing tomorrow… Sorry and double sorry about not getting them out sooner, no excuse except that I have failed to ship them…
Sound kit version 2, it’s close very close I hope to wrap it up this week and start moving forward on getting existing kits repaired and then back to the owners… And also on offering it for sale again… I really like the new revisions I have made and it should clear up all the issues…
Pack light kits, I’m in the process of doing a revision of the kits, I hope to have them in stock in a week or two… Same exact functions of my previous pack kits but a revised and streamlined build process and sorts so that I can lower cost and pass the savings on to you… The new kits will be $75, and still be a two piece design to make mounting easier, the only thing they will lack is the on/off switch that will be $5 extra for those that want it, with my gun kit it isn’t used so I’m dropping it as standard install…
Gun kits I will continue to offer the same gun kits, but in the near future will revise the in pack electronics version to make it more specific to the task and easier to install… More on that later as it’s in the baby stages…

Trigger tips using Namebrand’s files, I hope to have some welded up in the Wednesday the 3rd and offer them up with more to follow…
Ion Knob, the machine shop I contracted to do the run seems to have made a run for it, as they are no longer answering emails… Nothing lost except time as it was a net on delivery payment… I will be contacting a backup machine shop in the next day or so and having them move forward with the project instead…
Heatsinks, some possible good news on these my machinist stopped in the other night and told me they are getting some brand new shinny top of the line equipment… Can’t say if it will lower the price but it very well might make availability better as he said machine time should be drastically reduced in making the part…

I’m in full swing making pulls right now, in the next 24 hours or so I will be posting some pictures of what the final pulls will look like and should start shipping by the end of the week…
I will start taking new orders in the next few days with the understanding that there will probably be about a 2 week delay in shipping as I full fill the existing orders…
I’m be modeling a bumper up tomorrow, and hope to be offering it very shortly…
