decided to bite the bullet.
also hot glues red lenses with a clear sandpapered lenses behind the red ones to make it hazy and so you cant see through the red lenses and see the lights
found some blue Tupperware at the dollarstore and cut it up for the the powercell lens then also placed a sandpapered lens behind that for the same haze effect
lasty i got a dixie v-hook from MMM and got one side attached to the thrower 
this weekend i will try to find time to attach the opposite side to the pack
