Ghost Traps 101

YEah, i’m kinda bored, so I’m just going to start pulling together an instruction manual for all ghostheads to have some fun with. I just want to get a good idea of how these things work from you guys.

This is as much as I can figure:

Ghost traps run off the principle that in order to counteract non-physical beings, you use non-physical forces. The easiest non-physical force to replicate is a megnetic force. Using supremely high-powered electromagnets, the trap is capable of attracting a lot of electrons loose from the air, in which causes the “Capture cone” effect. With electrons being pulled from the air, this also causes the electrons resonate and give off light, thus why the brightest section of the cone is at the trap where all the electrons are being sucked into. This also may be the reason why the trap will tend to spark after each entrapment: with the excessive amount of electrons inside the trap, when the magnetic field switches to standby, a lot of gathered electrons are released and tends to arc around the trap to the ground.

not yet, but if you want you can post pictures
