HI guys what options are out there for the thrower hat lights, Ive got some orange cups/covers and a large clear one but they dont really look much like screen used ones. Whos sellng accurate or near accurate light covers. I have the little clear and reds ones sorted, but need 2 orange and 4 clear to complete mine and the misses packs.

Right now? No one. Every so often cast ones show up and even less often real ones show up. For the most part real hat lights are rare as hens teeth though. The two people that have produced casts in the past aren’t right now and won’t be for the forseeable future. I have plans of casting some eventually but it’ll be months before I get around to it. You could get lucky with a post in the wanted section though.

but yeah..they look like that for the most part…too bad u missed out on my sale a few weeks ago 
I didnt realise I needed them I just made the newbie mistake and thought I had it covered by the light kit.
What is the correct name for them so I can have a wee search myself?

Not sure what the technical name for them are. They’re removable panel lenses for incandecent indicator lights. General concencus is they were made by Arcolectric but other manufacturers may have made them.
Can someone tell me the size of them across the top, not the flange at the bottom. Ive found some lenses I can use for now, just to get my throwers together but there just clear and red lenses 12.7mm wide with no flange, are they a similar size?

In 1985, I’m sure they were available at any corner drugstore, but in 2010 they’re a little hard to come by.

I used the rear tip of an orange sharpie fine point pen for the ear on the front of the barrell…it’s a reasonable substitute…
…um…make sure you remove it over the sink…trust me.
I recently relized what some of the substitutes others are selling are. The orange cap can be found on new or re-built brake calipers. Usually in the box the orange “acceptable substitute” light cap can be found holding the two copper washer seals for the line, while plugging the hole where the line bolts to on the caliper. so if need be, maybe you could get one out of a box somehow
