help with lights and sound for my pack

I need a little help with the lights and sound for my pack. I purchased a thrower part built with the lights installed and the sound board.

The red push button on the black side piece of the thrower makes the sound for the pack start up the hum. the toggle switch below it makes the noise for the thrower when pushed down and when pushed up makes the nose of the thrower switching off.

On the throwers main body i only have one swith which turns the lights on the thrower on

Im buying the back lights off a guy on ebay which do the blue power cell lights and the red light sequence on the pack.

my question is should these come on when i press the red push button to make the pack start up sound or should they turn on with the lights on the thrower with the toggle switch.

also i have noticed that other throwers i have seen on here have 2 toggle switchs on the main body. what is the second switch for as i dont have this yet on my thrower.

Any help would be great as im a complete newby to this

It’s all very debatable my friend, there are people who will say that the pack lights and the gun lights in the film are switched on independantly of each other, there are those who will say they are switched on together. I lean towards the latter, and that’s how my pack is rigged up to light, one switch, all the lights. The vent light inside the gun is activated by one of the 2 toggle switches on the right of the back handle. It should make a higher pitched start up sound, also known as wand charge sound. Listen to the differences between the start up sound in the elevator scene and when Ray first meets Slimer.

The second switch is again debatable because we don’t see it used in the film, same as the one on the gun ear. I’ve chose to use the free toggle switch to activate the pack vent sound from the video game but you could rig it up to do whatever you want, play the theme song, there’s no right or wrong with that
