The rookie’s model was based off of Ryan French who is the associate producer of Sierra. But since the model has already been done even though Sierra isn’t backing the game anymore Mr. Ryan French is still the face of the rookie Ghostbuster. Lucky guy. T_T

My opinion of French is on the same level of most everyone else here, that he’s a alright bloke and probably got a bit shafted thanks to the buyout.
He hasn’t exactly done something to warrant the insult, unlike, for instance, the CEO of Activision so calling him a douche was uncalled for.
It is kind of weak that they used him for the character model… Would of made for a cool contest or something to animate a fan or something into the game.
that would have been awesome if they did that, but French being the model for the Rookie isn’t a bad thing i have to agree with Kingpin the guy got picked for a reason and i dont know why. for all we know Aykroyd saw the model and said keep it or something like that. I will say i am envious of the guy for getting the honor of getting put in the game.
i didn’t mean for french to get bashed i just thought it was interesting. I like the rookie being modeled after him, he has just the right look to be seen heard and noticed but at the same time not a major focus point, which is exactly what you want a voiceless hero to be.
Dude, not cool. I’m assuming you think you can do better? He may not be the MOST charismatic person around but you can watch any video of French involving the video game and you could tell how excited he was about it. I feel bad for him and in a way I’m glad he can still be a part of the game in some way.
For one thing, he did it for free, that’s why they kept his likeness, I’m sure his “deer caught in headlights” facial expressions helped a little also! 
I don’t think the game would be what it is without him. That being said, his interview on G4 reminded me a little of Ricky Bobby’s first post-race interview on Talladega Nights. Some people just aren’t photogenic. Oh well, thanks Mr. French for all that you’ve done for the game!
i agree the game would be different without the guy, besides he lucked out he said he was a GB fan and what bigger gift to a GB fan than to be immortalized into the series.
