Hello GBFans! I have currently become a new member here in honor of my seven year old son who is by far the biggest Ghostbusters fan I’ve ever met. Given his new found interest and his detail oriented behavior it was no shock to us that building him that perfect scaled down child size proton pack would be the ultimate Christmas present. My husband and I have been researching numerous resources to make his Christmas wish a reality. My husband is the one who will be building it and we are very interested in any tips, tools, resources that others have used for building a proton pack. Purchasing parts and light and sound kits is our first step but we are unable to PM anyone, has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it? We would like to start building this proton pack ASAP so it will be ready in time for Christmas. We are really intrigued in purchasing the R2DEVO v7 Combo Kit but we do not know the price of it and are unable to PM him, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Everyone!
Welcome! You and your husband are giving your son a Christmas that he won’t soon forget it sounds like. I remember when I got my Kenner RGB pack in the christmas of 87. Still the best Christmas ever. Good luck with the pack. Hope it turns out awesome.
You might want to check to see if that light kit would even fit in a scaled down proton pack. I don’t know of any which do.
This a 75% scale pack kit that a very talented member currently is ramping up another run.
Thanks for your feedback it’s greatly appreciated we ordered a custom mold and are going to build on to that and try to add lights and sound to fit the size also I checked out that link of the 75% movie replicated proton pack and wish I saw it earlier its awesome and we are contemplating purchasing it anyway thanks
