Well Craptastic 4 didn’t die because of the bad villain, it died because it was a turd sandwich. All of it. They made it basically a PG movie with terrible dialogue and easily foreseen “plot” so that it was a good movie for ALL ages. Yaaaaaaay.
Iron Man isn’t going to be kid friendly, as such it won’t bomb no matter how bad the villains are or how poor a choice they end up being. It could be sub-par, yes. But not a bomb. It’ll just be forgettable in the wake of Iron Man 3.
Just watched the trailer on youtube. I think this looks pretty darn exciting (granted I’ve never read any of the comic books).
A slimmed/scaled MK-44 on the shoulder. Plausible. Because bullet storage to feed that weaponry is definitely not going to be ignored by Hollywood. 
I saw this movie at last night. I thought it was pretty movie. It is the best movie of the year. It was entertaining and enjoyable movie. Awesome movie. I really enjoyed.

Whiplash should be a reasonable villain, especially coupled with Justin Hammer, and will lead well into Iron-Man 3 and The Avengers, assuming it does as well as expected
i doubt it will be a fantastic 4 fiasco, i liked 75% of the cast but the script writing was worse than some of the old cartoon episodes
Blade needs to return preferably without the “trinity” badly thought out movie compared to the first two

I actually liked wolverine, except “the deadpool” Ryan Renolds had such potential but that optic blast idea was stupidity, the blades could be salvaged and just ripped from his arms, i hope they conveniently say after his revival in the additional scene, they just glaze over that ability and chalk it up to loosing it in the process, or it degraded and didn’t take

Well, Spidey 4 has been cancelled now, and is being touted as a franchise reboot.. without Tobey or Sam Raimi.
Sam’s take on it was that he just coildn’t deliver the huge moneymaking blockbuster in the timeframe they were giving him.
Damned shame, since they just signed on John Malkovich as Vulture.

I loved the first one and Iron Man is like my favorite super hero. But if you watch the second trailer you don’t get as much as you want, and also the movie got boring when the Iron Monger came so if in the second they stuck with more millitary guys than the movie would sell millions. :walterpeck:
Yeah.. because the iron man comics are all about the military guys.
Maybe they should just combine Gi-Joe2 and Ironman 2?
