Latest Thrower build up.

Just a few photos of my latest thrower. Ive been wanting to try out gloss black on a prop for a while now as I believe it makes the resin look more like painted metal. So I threw together one of my kits to try it out, and im very happy with the results! Think ill use it on my hero trap build  Anyway, here are the photos…

Caution, genius at work! Absolutely amazing.

Nick you should really sell me that! I don’t have the time or feel like putting another one together right now.

So Nick, what did you use for the “tip converter” piece at the end of the front handle (the silver colored tube)? That’s the one thing I’ve been debating with on that kit I got from you.

always a pleasure to see your work nick.

where are you getting your orange and white light caps?

Yes Nick, where exactly are you getting them? sharpens scalpel

Thanks for all the kind words

Sorry but this one is already spoken for.

I made mine by finding a cardboard tube with an OD that was JUST smaller than the ID of the aluminium handle tube. I then coated it in resin, sanded it smooth then painted with chrome effect paint.

I acquired a single orange hatlight some time ago. I simply took a mold of it and cast copies. I use standard resin painted orange for the light on the gunear and hotglue from a gluegun for the “white” hatlights.

excellent work there Nick! Your stuff always turns out so nice.

That gloss coupled with the light weathering really does look good. Awesome job.
