Don’t know if anyone else noticed this but just watching GhostBusters 2 and when the guys are suiting up when coming out of the crazy house (in the old uniforms, but that’s another question), the leg hoses are nowhere to be found.
The answer is SO obvious. Whenever a person is admitted to a psychiatric facility, their state of mind must be determined, and there is a fear that the patient might attempt suicide. Belts, hoses and the like would be confiscated to prevent said patients from hanging themselves..
Always figured they’re just getting their uniforms on and haven’t attached them yet. As to their function, I think it would be hard doing what they do with a catheter up your dick, I hear its quite painful and if it isn’t a piss hose then where the heck does it collect? Man this is nasty! :sigh:
well, then you obviously haven’t read the literature that accompanies the 2 disc GB1 & GB2 DVD gift set. It clearly stated that they wore their street clothes over their suits to be incognito. So of course it appeared they didn’t have their uniforms at the time of their incarceration. It’s all in the booklet, but you may not have it. It’s pretty rare, and it’s the cornerstone of my Ghostbusters collection.
Well, they don’t in the ACTUAL movie, they’re in long johns with T shirts underneath. And that dvd set is easier to pick up than the cold, they always have it in our local Tesco for £5 (about $12-$13).
ahh I see now… you are watching the inferior British version. A lot of scenes were deleted and actually changed completely. It had something to do with a threatened trade embargo by Margaret Thatcher.
Sony had to make certain consessions on all of it’s imports. You should get the American version off ebay. It’s easily recognized by it’s iconic green slime cover.. cheers
