Wondering if anyone’s compiled a list of what size holes to drill and where.
I’m finishing up priming one of Exoray’s excellent shells and want to know what size each hole needs to be. If there’s not a list. LET’S START ONE!
What I do know is:
#7 drill bit for L bracket to mount the shell to the mobo
7/16" bit for 2 legris straight connectors on side by PPD
3/4" hole to attach gun hose to pack
What else?
If your using 7/16" for the straights, that should work for the elbows as well. I use a lot of 1/4" lags and bolts to hold most of my stuff on.
You should specify if these holes are sized to slip the part in easily, but require it to be glued to hold it in place, or whether it’s the size you need to drill to be able to thread the hole with the part. I guess if you’re using a plastic shell you’re not threading holes, but on my wood pack, most of the holes I threaded.
