More News on Theme Park Ride

A.J. wanted me to post this here. I’ve been keeping tabs on what’s going on with the new theme park ride that was mentioned offhand in one of the articles about the new game regarding a release for the anniversary. Screamscape, a theme park website that I frequently visit for news, has commented a little further on it which you can find in the article below:

Unfortunately, looks like it’s going in Universal Studios Dubailand. No word yet on whether we’ll see it stateside however. It sounds cool enough though. Keeping my fingers crossed since I live close to Orlando.

Park News - (3/21/09) Earlier this month I had heard some new details about the park’s Surf City area attractions, and this week I was sent some new information about the New York side of the park. To date, very little official information has been released about the New York area, but barring any major budget cuts this area should have a couple of the park’s most memorable attractions. No, I’m not talking about the Hooray for Bollywood stage show, I’m talking about that rumored Ghostbusters dark ride. The bits and pieces I’m hearing so far indicate that this isn’t just a copy of the Men In Black ride from Orlando with a new theme, but instead this will be a major new attraction designed from the ground up to bring the world of Ghostbusters to life.

Ohh well from my understanding Orlando will get the ride but down the road… there testing the technolgy overseas then they will put it over..

Also USF does has something in the works for this summer

I just got back from USF on Sunday and I didn’t notice anything. I’m sure they’re waiting for June.
