Well here it is. My 5-day Walgreens/Dollar Store Slime Blower! I couldnt use the original plans that people already have, as the person who will be wearing this is only 5’ 2"; so I tweaked the original designs to make my own. It shoots water 20 feet, has an animated light-up Power Cell, 2 LED spot lights and an animated light-up Positive Slime Charger. Thanks! Yes, I plan on doing a color-coded key like I did on the Pack. It may be a couple days before I get to it as I have to get the car detailed for a parade.
i like what you have there. you did a damn fine job making that a custom piece, looks great! and the slime, dude. you are so on to something there. that is awesome.
Here ya go! If there are any individual questions or other pictures wanted; please feel free to ask!:
The Kid’s Thermoses were pop-riveted to the Toilet Paper Holders.
The 2 Toilet Paper Holders are pop-riveted together using U-Brackets.
The Phone Cord hides the Toilet Paper Holder seam.
The Plastic Bowls are hot-glued in place.
The bottom Food Storage Box is pop-riveted to the Plastic Bowl.
The side boxes are connected to the Toilet Paper Holders by using a Dremmel tool to cut away the shape and then hot-glued into place front the front and behind.
The paint used was Rust-Oleum Hammered Silver Paint For Plastics.
I made all the decals myself using permanent laser printer decal paper.
Make the slime by drawing with the red Puff Paint, get the hot-glue so hot you can smell it, trace around the Puff Paint with the hot-glue and then cover the top; and finally tilt the object so the Slime runs naturally. It dries hard to the touch and glows in sunlight.
damn man. this thing is awesome. and how you did your slime, FREAKING GENIUS!!! how did you ever come up with that? agian, truely a great job all around.
As for the slime, I think I knew I wanted to do hot glue after really thinking about it. Im pretty sure regular paint would work too instead of Puff Paint, but the Puff Paint had this cool little nozzle on the bottle which looked like it would give more control then just slopping it on.
It’s my friend’s mother who I have known for about 25 years. She loves parades, I think they are a bit odd myself. The water goes into the gun part, not the tank part on her back.
You do pretty good t making this kind of things but, After seeing how much slime leaked out, I don’t think I’d be willing to actually use this withoutwearing a full body covering!
