Powercell housing extra space

Hey folks. I need help/suggestions, I have to get an extra inch of space in the powercell hosing area so the light kit will fit but my mind has went blank on how I would get the extra space.

Please help only got 6 days off work till Halloween (oh the joys of being full time)

Many thanks

You have to make an entire extra inch? That seems like a lot. I would think that your only options are to grind out the inside with a dremel tool, but I wouldn’t think that you would have in excess of 1/2 inch on both sides to be able to do that. Your best bet is probably just to get a light bar that actually fits. How did you end up with a power cell and light kit that were so mismatched?

Yeah, an inch of space inside a pack is a huge difference. Is this a shell or a scratch build? Do you have any pictures of the problem you’re running into?

Do you need the window bigger or the entire cell? is it width or height? Is this a shell or a scratchbuild? Either way you’ll probably have to cut off the entire powercell and make a new one if you need a full inch.

How do you gain an extra inch inside something that’s a set size!?

depending on how the lights are made, can you shave some material off from the light assembly?

pics would really help out so we have a clearer idea of what your problem is

You’ve clearly never read house of leaves.

Though I’d need a picture to really offer any ideas, I’m not exactly sure what the problem looks like.

it would help to have pics of the powercell board and the power cell box .

extenze?

eXistenZ is paused!

pics?

In this case, a picture is worth 1000 posts.

will gett picture up soon, working form dawn till dusk in a supermarket drains the soul from me so i have not had the time to get to my workshop. will be Sunday before i can get anything done.

Thanks for all your help with this.
