After quite a few board revisions, I can finally offer my pack lights for sale with a clean conscience! :wink:

What does the kit look like?

Included is:

1 main board

4 cyclotron cables

1 DPDT toggle switch with cable assembly

1 9v battery snap connector

A QUICK EXPLANATION of a few key features that I have incorporated into my kits:

The LEDs used in my kit are custom made for me, in a factory in china. This is not your standard, off the shelf ‘white’ LED. It is a somewhat yellowish white, EXTREMELY similar to the color of incandescent bulbs. Basically, I aimed to recreate the color of the lights that the real movie packs had installed in them.

The toggle switch is pre-wired with approximately 8 feet of cable for both the pack lights, and also for simple connection to my pack sound kit (found here: Proton Pack Sound Board! ReplicaProps Chip Adapter Too! - For Sale - GBFans.com). It’s as easy as plugging it in to the connector on the board, and screwing the wires into the sound kit.

On the main board, there are 2 potentiometers that individually control the speed of both the Power cell lights, and the Cyclotron lights. You can easily adjust the speeds to whatever you feel is most appropriate.

My kit is designed to run on 9-12 volts, and uses a set of screw terminals to connect the kit to a battery setup of your choice.

Although I´m pretty itchy about jumping on one right now I´ll wait until you have the thrower kits ready so I can order both in a combo.

There sure are, that’s my winter project, actually!

They’ll be plug n play with both this kit, and my sound kit.

So lets say an LED blows, how much would a replacement be if you’re the only one who has them? :slight_smile:

Hmm, good question!

$0.25 per LED plus shipping sound fair? I’d rather not get into the business of bulk component selling, but if you have an LED go out, I’d be happy to offer a replacement for you to replace it with.

Mind you, LEDs tend to be rated for 100,000+ hours of operation, so the likelihood of this sort of situation arising is… well down the road from now. :slight_smile:
