Question for AJ regarding Proptopia..

I didn’t really know where to put this, but I know AJ is a tech guy at Proptopia…

Okay, here is my question.

When I log into proptopia, I can only go to the “main screen”. Whenever I click to the “general disscussion” board or any other board. My web browser starts flickering really fast and goes to an error screen “Webpage has expired”. When I refresh the page it does the same thing. i have to click the “X” button on my browser to stop the flickering to even read what is on the page. It only started doing this a few days ago.

I just wondered if I was the only one with this problem, GBfans.com and other sites do not have this problem.

Was something upgraded or changed on proptopia? Or is this something on my end?

Just wondering.

Do you use the white theme or the black theme of Proptopia?

I am having the same exact issue and I am using the black theme.

Proptopia wasn’t working correctly for me this morning either. The threads wouldn’t load correctly, the page formatting was screwy.

Oh yeah something is horribly wrong over there.

Hrm, I am on the light theme and while I don’t get this flickering, there are 3 additional right-columns, which are all grayed out except for one row which repeats what would normally be in the “replies/views/last post” columns. This only happens when viewing a sub forum, if I view the forum through “show new posts” it doesn’t do it.

I guess its time to give Proptopia an overhaul.

I having a odd problem.

In some threads, peoples posts are on the same line, witch stretches the page out.

I was experiencing the same issue Sonic reported, and view the forum on the black design. I believe I may have been experiencing the issue as late as this morning, but I have the site open right now and it no longer keeps changing to a page load failure.

I have no issues with proptopia on either theme at this point.

Because GBFans is like the big corporate giant of Ghostbusters websites, and Proptopia is the quiet little indie battler. I kinda prefer the smaller community that Proptopia has.

Site appears to be up now.

I don’t see anything wrong with it. If it re-directed you to “freeze.com” you might have spyware / malware. That site is linked to a virus type dealio.
