hmm, well i don,t know, i ike both. i voted for the firehouse because it,ll have animations in the windows! and the ecto-1 comin, out the doors i thought was cool. but i also lik3e the original artwork too! i never had the original artwork. what if they make mix! just a thought tho. but yeah i would like to see something different! all i now is that when it comes out am gonna get a set and the video game! BAustin, makes me feel good, yeah! lol 
I only voted for the second one because it’s got all four Ghostbusters on the box, with their packs so it gets the idea across as to who is in it.. Plain as it is, I think it will be enough to attract other consumers besides us.
I won’t be upset if the Firehouse wins and indeed has something a bit more meatier to bite on…Slimer on the box perhaps?

Went with firehouse. I’m a sucker for anything with the Ecto-1 on it.
The fire house is fun and creative the other seems generic and thoughtless.

I vote for the first pic. Putting the Ghostbusters HQ as the box is great. It will also become a collector’s item and not something that a lot of people would just throw away after opening it.

I think maybe the firehouse one, pretty good idea imo 
as far as choices go, those are kind of pathetic - the firehouse is a cool idea in theory… but you’d have to get a good artist to do some quality art of the firehouse from the actual cartoon, using the firehouse from the movie is just lazy.
speaking of lazy, the other “choice” is so lame! lets make it black and put random group shots of the RGBS on each side" - like they’re dumbing it down so little kids know what it is - little kids wont be buying these, it’s the twenty-something thirty-something crowd that will be buying these, and I think if we’re paying $50-100 for this set, we should get some decent packaging in the process… however like their website says, **“Please keep in mind these are concepts, **and may change due to creative, and/or, budgetary reasons.” So hopefully they will do the right thing and have someone do a nice design…
though I guess we shouldn’t look a gift horse in the mouth, they could wrap a brown paper bag around the dvds, I’d still buy them…
the other option they couldve gone with is to let artists from all over the world submit artwork for the package - they could’ve given the specs for the size, format etc maybe even provided a down-loadable kit of pre-chosen RGB artwork to use in the design process, or let artists design something from scratch, I know I would’ve liked to throw my hat in the ring as far as designing the package art goes…
Well, I got to say that both covers are great… the coolest thing is the inside discs and the fact that we finally will get the RGB on dvd officially.

Box sets ahoy! I wonder if they’ll do like some other companies and just put them both out.
I’m leaning towards the firehouse but I’m not sure I’d go for it, I’d like to know if they’ll be using the one from the show, it makes more sense than using the one from the movie. I can see the confusion now, as that box sits next to all my other RGB/GB dvds and tapes.
All of the pics of the animated firehouse floating around and they pick the one from the movie? Maybe they’re trying to merge them or something?

I voted for the firehouse as it’s a design that’s near and dear to my heart. [If certain people are lurking here, you know why :-)]
The inner box might have the iconic RGB group pose and Ecto-1 chase shot seen in the other design. We don’t know. So it’s possible that we could “have it both ways” - sort of speak.
And I’m sure that that’s just a quick mock-up of the firehouse to get the concept across. I’m sure that if approved, the firehouse will be drawn to the RGB model used in the series.

as much as I love the firehouse design… it really doesn’t bother me. Since I would only use the innercase box to put on my dvd shelves, I wouldn’t see it that often. As much as I love box sets of tv shows and movies, they now tend to over do the display factor and make them hard to shelf.
The Invader ZIm box set is a good example of that:
At the end of the day, I don’t mind what the box looks like for my ghostbusters DVD set, I just want them on DVD!! In other words… **HURRY THE HELL UP!!! I WANT TO HAVE A REAL GHOSTBUSTERS MARATHON!!! **

I’m not inpatient… but dvds have been out for how many years now? 10 years? 10 years waiting on a re-release of a 20-25 year old cartoon series is enough to make anyones eye twitch with anticipation…
