Would it be too much to ask if some one could get me the measurements of the resistor on the trap? It would be helpful if the measurements were shown on a diagram.
Why? You can buy the cal resistor right here in the GBFans shop.
because if you’re like me and in a surplus store looking at a shelf filled with boxes which are filled to the top with different types of resistors and some may just be them it would help to get their measurements so you dont purchase two of the completely wrong ones out of 8?

Money is tight right now or else I would. I didn’t think it would hurt to make one from wood to use for now until I could buy one. I’ve got plenty of scrap wood.
for my last pack i used some bolts that i cut the heads off and used the threads as the actual resistor. it works ok enough for the longer dale resistor on the cheap, it’s almost 2" long. the other one is 1"X.5" you could probably substitute it for a dowel too.
super ■■■■ measurements for a correct dale resistor (with the emblem on the top face) are
1.92 long
.61 wide
.58 tall
id just use a 1/2" dowel and cut it 2" long and give it some ribs, it’d be a hell of a lot easier than cutting up a bolt.
i dont have the correct sage resistor.

i gave you the measurements for the resistor on the side of the ion arm on the proton pack. im sorry. i’ll see who i can badger to get measurements on them tomorrow.
really, a thread that has measurements for all the resistors (for pack and trap) would be royally helpful.
That’s ok. I just got some extra cash but decided to do this one another time and try making some ecto-goggles instead. Thanks for the help though!
