Who knows, eventually down the line I might make alternate uniforms. I never planned on having just one, so maybe I’ll try my hand at something different later – including an accurate suit. I figured since football teams have throwback jerseys I could do a “throwback” classic one. My sister and a few friends attend random conventions for multiple days, so I never imagined I’d be in one suit the entire time if I finally tagged along.
One of my uniform ideas is more for fashion than functionality. I’m sure somebody around here has done a workshirt/work shorts version of the uni before cuz i’m sure running around in hot weater in a full on flight suit is hell sometimes lol. I believe I’ve seen that variation before, but if anyone has any pix I’d like to see.
My casual uni would be complete with a matching pair of Nikes if I can hunt down some Air Force One’s in black, red, and white. Not gonna win any points for accuracy, but hey lol.
Also, Bathing Ape has some GB sneaks, altho I’m not sure if they’re still available as they seem to have been a limited run and may be over $200. I haven’t looked in awhile. **EDIT: Yeah, they’re sold out completely. Best bet is eBay, but most pairs are running $300. This is why I’m not a sneaker collector lmao.

I didn’t even think there was going to be a third movie. Other than just a bunch of rumors, anyway, He’ll probably do a song similar to what Bobby Brown did in the second; only with voice auto correction or “Auto Tune”. But then again, Every song he’s done has been “auto tuned”.

There are tons of artists I personally hate, Lil’ Wayne being one of them so I’ll agree with you there, but again, listen to what and who you want to. That’s why God created MP3 players.

I figure as much, but I don’t think genre bias if cool at all. Since we’re on the topic anyway I’ll say my two cents despite not wanting to veer this thread more off topic. I’m fairly electric. On my Zune I have a melting pot of music as I listen to every genre imaginable. I’m pretty open to music genres, as I think it’s close-minded as all hell to hate an entire style of music. I understand hating a few artists within that category, but to shit on an entire genre and call it’s fans “retards” like ProtonCharger did is a bit much.
And Kissimmee_Buster, everything Kanye West has done is not auto-tuned. 808s & Heartbreaks was because he wanted to use the effect on purpose. Is the effect in general over used in music today? Yes, but when used effectively, it works. Kanye has 3 albums that didn’t even use the effect and despite his overly cocky nature, he’s one of the better MCs out right now. But if you two hate Mr. West so much, I did mention earlier he is indeed on Twitter, please send your hate mail to him instead of using me liking hip-hop music as a way to flame bait in a thread originally about screen accuracy on uniforms.
Sheesh, with all this hip-hop hate I wonder if deep down that was the reason most everyone hated GB2? To be frank, that’s the reason why I even became a huge fan of Ghostbusters. Between Bobby Brown’s “On Our Own” and Doug E Fresh’s “Spirit,” you couldn’t tell me nothin’ when I was a little kid. Just watching the end credits with the soundtrack medley is why I rented this movie 400 times and annoyed my mom because I watched it like 5 times a day. I did enjoy the first one, but 2 took the taco for me.
But I digress. ProtonCharger is most likely going to insult me more in his reply, so I don’t know what else to say other than I’m going to be myself. Not everyone is going to like me, but that’s cool. Proton, despite your childish rants, I do respect your right to an opinion. I don’t see what the big deal is here. I read older posts, and it seems like Jairus is quick to tell somebody how this “hobby isn’t for them” or somebody like ProtonCharger has some snide remarks to somebody raising a valid point or asking a legit question.
I sound like an ass hat and I’m slightly defensive because of what I’ve read before. A lot of these threads date back to 2009 and earlier, so while some of you regulars may have forgotten what y’all said, a new person like me coming in reading older topics before posting reads a) lots of good info with friendly fellow ghostheads and b) a few elite ass holes with a superiority complex. But I guess it comes with the territory.
