Does anyone out there have a good recipe for slime to put on your uniform??
or is that not

It was suggested around halloween to use something from auto supply stores that is used to lubricate wires to feed through loom. It evaporates and leaves minimal or no residue.
I use the green aloe Vera sunburn gel

I think a soap or shampoo/conditioner would be best, if not some laundry detergent so it will wash out and clean your suit at the same time.

Becauase it wont evaporate, it will look as though slime dried on your suit and its nasty. And then u can just throw it in the wash and be done with it with it.

Yea but too much non approved detergent can cause your washer to foam, so if you do put Alot I’d advise giving it a rinse with the hose or something first.

Thanks for all the great suggestions, I will be mixing a few things to try out this weekend and let you all know how it goes!! I have a theory about laundry detergent, mixed with aloe vera.

The only think I would advise with soap try it on a t shirt just to make sure it don’t break you out do to prolonged exposure if your fair skinned.

I use shampoo for slime all the time…
It does NOT dry sticky, but when it does dry it has a wet look on the fabric. Doesn’t stain either. If its hot outside it cools you down quite a bit and you smell GREAT!
Cleanup is washing it by itself in the machine with no other soap. I usually do that twice.
Which brand do you like to use?? Cool Uniform!
It varies, “Classic Prell” was used in that pic but here’s a shot using an Irish Spring bodywash that gave a really nice green color…
For pink slime I use Herbal Essences Pomegranite, which looks red in the bottle but gives a nice pink tone on the flightsuit.
You can also use the Herbal Essences as a cheap prop…just put it in a jar and print out a label

The Ideal Clear Wiring pulling lubricant, I haven’t used it personalty, but may plan to. Depends.
Yeah.. “clear glide”. The advantage of it for events, is you could be slimed one day, and wear your uniform the next without slime or laundering, perfect for multi day events like dragoncon.
For general one night events, the cheaper shampoo solutions make more sense because uniforms will (hopefully) be laundered afterwards, and its cheaper.
