Slime for uniform that won't stain?

Hi everyone! Working on my first adult uniform and since I haven’t built a pack yet am hoping to go for the Venkman / Stantz “You’ve looked better” Winston hire scene look.

Any idea of what to use to get the wet / slime uniform look that won’t stain the uniform? Initially I thought I was really smart because I’d use laundry detergent, but a quick search revealed that leaving laundry detergent sit on clothing can stain them.

I specifically use Ideal brand clear wire pull lubricant.

It has no smell and dries clear. I buy it by the gallon on Amazon.

Only drawback is that it dries pretty quickly.
