but what is the lenght of the pvc pipeing at both ends of the gun, not counting the grips. I am finally getting materials around to build the movie pack, which is going to be make mostly of cardboard.

are you talking about the hose from the gun to the pack, or the handles themselves?
I think he meant the handles on the gun, not the split loom, which would be 5 feet.
For the handles, I believe they are both about 6 1/2 inches. The total gun length is around 21 1/2 inches long (that’s from the tip of the clear barrel, to the back of the rear handle where the split loom connects).

yeah i am illiterate, they should be in the plans. I am not sure what the length is. use the 1:1 thrower plans and measure that.

They’re really right. I went ahead and combined the two topics. If you think you’ll have a bunch of questions and can’t find anything with the search, probably a good idea to keep asking questions in the same place. Trust me, people will read it and still be able to help by reading your new questions and it makes things a little less cluttered at times with a bunch of “I have another question” “one more question” topics. There’s a good chance most of them have been discussed and people will be happier to answer them all in one place I think. In this case, yes typing “hose length” in the search came up with the answer.
That said, good luck! 
As they said, the pack hose is probably about 5 ft maybe a little different for each person depending on your height. 5 ft should be plenty but then you can sort of “test” how much is good for your height, looking at some reference pictures and seeing how far you can extend your arm comfortably with a little extra room of hose without being so much you’ll trip on it, or too short that it will be pulled on tightly.
When you’re holding the gun, I wouldn’t go past your knee as far as the hose that hangs. That’s what I think anyway. Hopefully you can find out what works best for you!
