Well I was reading over the atari announcement and they were talking about how sony consumer products has licensed the property for several new products, including games, toys, t-shirts, comic book, props…etc. All stuff that we know about, but then reading further it said Theme Park attraction! Any idea why we hadn’t heard about this? What park does sony have ties to?

Sony previously leased Ghostbusters to Universal Studios for attractions there (several different shows). They got rid of it a few years ago, though they still lease Men In Black to them. Hopefully they’ll bring it back to Universal.
Hope its something along the lines of a laser tag type of attraction where you are either a ghost or a buster. That’d be an awesome GB attraction. I’m not sure how a GB ride would fare.
Perhaps they will rebrand “Ghost Blasters”
It’s a shame they don’t just bring back the damn Spooktcular, noooo let’s run a ■■■■■■■ roller coaster through the front window of the fire house facade.
I’m hoping for something like Men In Black at Universal Studios. Hell, I’ve always thought it’d be neat if they re-did Men In Black to make it Ghostbusters/Men In Black.
I bring you guys some werid news.. A week ago I got the chance to met and talk to the head writer for Universal Orlando Shows.. I asked about Ghostbusters and the 25th anniversary, well he said “I can and cannot confirm Ghostbusters will be coming back”. So I asked about the orginal Ecto-1 maybe showing up at USF and said the same thing 
Guess I’ll have another reason to go to Orlando again! 
That’d be funny if it came back so soon after being yanked.
