Looks sick.
I’d definately buy some off you for mine.
Thanks Guys!
No worries, you were already on the list. ![]()
Another small update. I have the Power Cell “Frame”, Booster Frame, PPD / Booster Base and Booster (which needs a lot of trimming). Below them you can see the start of the Thrower: Back Handle and Grip, Body Blank and Barrel with Grip.
Still needs alot of sanding.
I think I may have to buy 4 of these from you Capt - and I dont even have the 1:18 Ecto, I just love your work and I could use them to make custom GB figures using Stikas or something
Small G.I. Joes would be better.
And knowing is half the battle. Go Joe!
tell me you’re making a run of these!
Okay, “you’re making a run of these.” ![]()
That would be the basic plan, but only if the molds and castings work out.
Awesomnesss at 200 MPH
Color me interested. I’m in for 4!
If the molds and casting work out I’d be interested in 8
Rick, fett, Higs and MC! Thanks for commenting on this thread.
On with the update, the smallest Mother Board ever made.
And a matching Crank Generator w/ Knob made up of styrene sheet, sandwiched together to get the correct height. I put the Depth indicator I printed out from Stefan’s plans next to it so you can see that I’m matching it as close as possible.
Still have a lot of fine sanding to do, but here is what they look like stacked on the Mother Board.
And the rest of the pieces I have cut out sofar.
Please keep the replies coming, it helps my motivation. ![]()
HOLY!!! that is so amazing, im totally speechless!
Sweet Fancy Moses, that’s some incredible work! 8)
Sooooo glad you’re doing this. Every time I look at my 1/18 Elie Ecto, I think about how cool it’s gonna be to open that back hatch, roll out the dolly and see 4 miniature PROTON PACKS in there! ![]()
wow totally awesome
Capt is the master of miniatures!
JEEZ cap!
Awesome update, that motherboard shot is really cool, but seeing all the pieces you have so far is quite awe-inspiring! The bumper also looks like its starting to take shape.
Could look at these pics for a while and not get bored, lol.
Have to agree, seeing four of these bad boys loaded into the Ecto-1 is gonna be crazy.
Really impressive for being as small as it is, great job!
Small update. Now that my hand is back to being steady again, I’ve resumed work on the Pack. Here I’ve started ot add the “ribbing” to the Gear Box.
I’ve set the Cyclotron on the Mother Board and attached the N-Filter. The Gear Box is just sitting in place so you get an idea of how it will look when finished.
And a comparison shot along side a Matty Pack.
Glad to hear your hand is steady again. That’s some nice work, can’t wait to see what they look like finished.
