My girlfriend doesn’t really like Ghostbusters and rolls her eyes when it comes to me trying to show her the trailers for the new game etc.
But she knows it’s been a passion of mine since the mid 80s and she loves me no matter what.
my girlfriend enjoys ghostbusters and likes to be quizzed on it so she knows as much about it. she already agreed to being a sexy GB with me when I finish my suit and pack and whatnot…
I just get called a dork. Or Dorkface.

my newest girlfriend has embraced the GB phenominon with open arms and everything! I could not ask for a better person. the best part was i pre-warned her before we started daiting that i came with everything related to ghostbusters and hockey. and she loves it!! i will post pics of her soon running around the apartment in a GB shirt! Who knew it could be so hot!!!

haha so stoked right now. normaly when my girlfriend comes over i tend to tidy away alot of my works in progress props just to make the place a little neater etc but the other day we go back to mine after meeting up in the afternoon and ive got all my pack parts and resin casts all laid out and i kind of get a bit worried what shes gunna say and she looks at my ion-arm and asks what it is. i kind of take a deep breathe and explain to her what it is and that im building a full size proton pack (she then notices the alice frame hanging from my curtain rail which was another big giveaway) and her eyes lit up like a kid on christmas!! she then BEGGED me to let her wear it out one day once its finished and she then wanted to know all about it and how i was making it etc. was just so happy she took such an interest in it!

My fiance and I love doing costumes together though sometimes she needs a little convincing.

Kinda on the side project for the 25th anniversary of EPCOT. My idea but she dressed to match. Same with this.
Unfortunately I cant find the pic I took of her for that day. But she was wearing a scarf too.
This took alot of convincing but in the end she did her research and I didnt know.
Now to convince her to do a GB costume and a watchmen costume.
My ex couldn’t handle the Stay Puft halloween costume, there’s no way she’d be able to tolerate me actually building a proton pack. She kept calling me the Michelin Man so I ended things before Halloween and hooked up with a gal who appreated The Destructor.

F*** her. She was about as smart as a bag of hair, anyway. Pointless drama was getting too much for me. When she said “What’re you supposed to be, the Michelin Man? Hahahahaha!” I calmly responded, “Yeah. Just like you’re going as a single girl who got dumped by the Mechelin Man for Halloween.”
This topic is kind of making me depressed…most of you have GF’s. Lucky. Man I’m lonely. :sigh: I almost was dating a girl that liked GB…then she decided she was a lesbian. Welcome to my surreal social life. At least I’ve got the GB Calendar Girls.
Perhaps if you were out with friends meeting new people you wouldn’t have that issue.
I’m trying to be nice here, but if you have time to complain that you don’t have a girlfriend, it means you’re not working hard enough for it. Good things don’t just march up to you, you have to put yourself out there. And not out there on the internet, that’s for floppy dicks.
And no, you do not have a surreal social life. Stop trying to convince yourself otherwise, most guys with a nominal dating record have had one or two girls go gay on them. It’s not a big deal.

The eye rolls when you get excited because you just got the latest issue of Planet hulk (yes, it’s been that long since I’ve had a GF… and I’ve not been happier).
Okay… so the cons were a little more geared towards MY last experience. But the ■■■■■■ and psychos that came before here weren’t much better. I had a girl drink my blood once.
I know there are nerdy chicks out there who have the same obsessions as I do. the problem is none of them are around me and already taken. Sooooo, I’ve learned to be content by myself. And honestly, life is ducky. I’m not sad. I have friends and I hang out and I meet new people. I just never do so with the intent of trying to get a date (or even a piece of a**).
Another option is to become the “Lonely Creepy guy.” Follow pretty girls around who think of you as a brother like a lost puppy. That’s always fun, too. Lord knows I went down that road once (I think we all have).
