Battery pack advice

Hi.

I’ve got exoray’s pack & wand lights in my pack which are 9v and then the GBfans sound kit & a modified barrel light which both run off 12v. I bought a module off eBay to step the voltage down from 12v to 9v so I can run them all from the same battery.

I have purchased one of the blue camera battery packs off eBay from china. It is 12v DC 6800mAh. I have charged it overnight and tried connecting it up before. Everything works for roughly a minute before it all shuts off. I can’t understand why? Am I using the wrong battery pack? If so what’s the best pack to use to run everything?

Any advice would be appreciated.

What kind of charger are you using?

Is it a ‘smart’ charger or a normal wall charger.

There is a chance you may have over charged the battery.

It’s the plug that came with it. It has two led’s on. Red when its charging & green when it’s charged. I stopped charging when the light went green. I’m puzzled.

Plug them into the charger while they are turned on. When they are no longer giving a green light they are fully charged.
