so i went over to a club tonight in full gear for a contest worth $1079 and who do i meet but our fellow gb chrismagic83! it was awesome to sit and trade details and check out eachother’s gear. here’s me and chris:
we went into the contest and got in the top ten. our major competition was the burger king & micheal jackson[with a kid sewn onto his crotch]. by the applause, we were sure we were in the top three, but apparently a crossed-dressed guy going as China beat us out. he ended up winning, but about half the people there told us they cheered for us the hardest and thought we should have won. felt good. plus we got about ten-million compliments on our packs, and had a ‘rubies’ gb tell us he was embarassed to stand beside us. i hope we inspired him to take the plunge and make a real pack. here’s some pics of some of the best costumes:
