so after our dissapointing loss on saturday night, me, chris, and jeff came full-force tonight. we entered into an advertised $500 contest. we hung out, took lots of pics with folks, drank some beer, then FINALY the contest was started. there must have been at least 20 people in the contest. some folks were either too drunk to make it on stage, or decided the competition was too much. all told, there were i think 16 or so folks in the first round [counting us 3 as one]. it was judged by crowd response, and we didn’t think we made the top 3. SURPRISE! we did! so it was us, a Borat, and a chick dressed as a disco ball. the mc went thru the 3, with us last. it was prettty tight, but when the mc got to us, he called out to the crowd “Who Ya Gonna Call???” and everyone in the joint screamed GHOSTBUSTERS!!! and that was all she wrote! we got top prize and were VERY happy. we all looked at each other and exclaimed “It’s Milla Time!!”
so we collected our goodie bag. it wasn’t filled with $500, but a lot of 30 days of night swag, along with various cupons for services around town, and $50. a far cry from $500, but still great to get some cash. plus all the people that complimented us on our packs and uniforms, it all added up to well worth it. it was a great night. now on to actual Halloween! heres a few pics:
