Don’t wanna go nuts with the idea do ya?
I use Testors Aluminum model paint on a soft bristle brush or Q-tip
dip into a small amount of paint then wipe the brush on newspaper for several strokes then use it to catch the edges of the pack, notably in areas that are open to being bumped and rubbed
metal parts on the pack just scratch with some sandpaper
others have had good luck with a silver base coat then put some mustard were you want the wearing, let it dry really well then spray it all black, then go back and chip off the mustard to reveal the silver…I’ve never tried this method though but it should work well
