Nick-a-tron Thrower & Pack build!

And here comes the update!

At least a part of it.

Get most of the holes cut out, and sanded a few spots.

Also added some fakewelds, trying out the hot glue method.

And holes for the V-hook, bondo needed, I know.

N-filter drilled out.

Some goodies all painted up!

PPD, HGA and Vacuum hose tube out of metal that I had laying around.

Ion end cap out of some wood, and brass rod.

Here we go, shell painted silver!

And here with the bumper on, all black.

WAY to shiny for my likings!

Well, I will repaint the shell tonight with all the other bits, and hopefully have the lenses in by bedtime.

Got my crank knob today, the last missing bit!

Another update is due soon.

Well, long time, no update once again!

I got the pack done in time for Halloween. even though I had to stress some parts.

Should have taken my time, but hey!

I had fun, and now it´s time for upgrades.

Here are a few pics, from building and done.

Crappy done-pics though.

This look I like!

Took some heat resistant paint I had on the shelf, came out nice.

The beam line and filler tubes I made out of some PVC for now.

Also some of the parts has started to make it´s way onto the pack.

Made the mobo from some hardwood I had laying around.

Note the service plate, with a little batterypowered speaker!

This houses the batteries for the soundchip.

This is the inside.

Note the blocks of wood I secure the shell onto the Mobo itself.

Also, I went with ordinary wire for household electrics between the gun and pack.

This to sturdy up the split loom a bit, worked like a charm!

Wiring of the Crix light kit.

Liquor bottle caps made the reflectors to the cyclotron.

All done!

The damn trigger tip broke though.

The dual lights on the cyclotron is because of long shutter settings.

Now, these are my plans for upgrades.

*Build another Wand, with lots of aluminum parts, real clippard, proper dry rubs, etc.

*Tear down the pack and have it professionally painted (my brother owns a paint shop)

*Get aluminum and vinyl labels.

*Get a real clippard.

*Redo the mobo in aluminum.

*Get all GBFans electronics.

Also, all the parts that gets left over, will be another build.

This build will be with a Studio Creations for my fiance.

Sharp looking pack! I know it was a while ago, but I definitely liked the heavier weathering. (And no one could kick you in the nuts for this pack, don’t worry!) Great job all around!

Thanks!

I really think it came out nice, especially for a first build.

And to add the time pressure, and wallet that did´nt like this one bit…I´m happy.

Well, thanks to Julz, I will upgrade to amazing Aluminumparts next year!

PPD, Vac-hose-thingy, HGA, Beam line and tube will be all in aluminum.

Thanks you so much julz!

This made my past years agonies a lot easier.

If anyone wants to know what the hell I´m talking about, PM me.

I don´t wish to flash my whole story out to the community.

So, that´s next on my lists of upgrades, aswell as an aluminum Mobo.

And perhaps, if I get enough aluminum over from the Mobo, I´ll attempt to make a aluminum thrower body.
