Well, hello guys and gals!
Been lurking around this board for a while now, and now it´s time for my very own build!
I´ll be posting pictures, cursing, whining, idiotic ideas, and more. 
And right off the bat, this won´t be super-duper accurate.
I´ll be building this one to my own liking, with some minor changes so it fits me, rather than the actors.
Well, pics and such will be posted as progress moves along.

Well, I did´nt take to many photos building it.

Well, anyway, on the pics!
This is what I started out with from Nick (amazing casts, cudos!).
And after a bit of drilling and dremling, I got this.
First ever attempt on fake welds…I know it´s big, but hey!
I´m happy for a first try.
Used plastic paddings epoxy “dough”.
And here it is when I was working on the twisting barrel (my own take at it).
Note the hexscrews on the barrel.
Used a threaded coupling I dremled into place in the gun body, then a threaded pipe that fit into the 2" PVC pipe.
As I stated before, this build won´t be super-duper-accurate.
Learning the ropes as I go along.
Another update is due this afternoon/evening, stay tuned!
Well, it took until today for me to do an update.
But hey, better late than never right?
Got caught up in weathering, so I´ll post those.
Not sure if I´m happy or not with it.
So, I´m thinking of stripping it all down again to repaint it!
What do you guys think?
And yes, I want a heavy weathered look.
The big ass holes are for the hosefittings…took what I had laying around.
Also, all the bolts are stainless steel M5´s.
All of these things will be upgraded to correct stuff in the future.
The heatsink is bolted from inside, and tapped the heatsink itself.
And another reason to repaint would be so I can redo the weld below the top knob thingy.
As you can see, it´s huge!
And for all the stickers, I´m going to try and get a hold of chrome for the clippard, and proper dry rubs.
Nevermind the blob of bondo, forgot to sand it down after I accidently drilled straight through the gun box.
So, this is me holding this badboy.
Now for your opinions!
Did I overdo the weathering?
Am I going to get kicked in the ■■■■■ when I meet one of you guys?
Should I repaint it, and try not to go so crazy with the weathering?
The look I was going for was kind of “30-40 years of hard use and no time to repaint”.
30-40 years? Dude it looks like it just survived 2 methods of universal destruction. It looks good heavily weathered. Its what makes you happy.

I´m currently waiting for an acrylic tip (over two weeks since it left USA), and a Jupiter Light kit.
Going to a electronics store today to buy the cliplites, and starting to break it down to make room for all the connctions.

Got my acrylic barrel in the mail today, and my Jupiter gun kit aswell.
I also noticed a type-o from my side…of course I meant 32mm (1.25" ?) on the handle and barrel…not 2".
Well, my eyeballing of the holes for all the electronics sucked horses ass!
Got to fill in all the holes, and therefor I have to repaint it aswell…
Nothing bad that don´t bring anything good along though!
Now I can take more pics for you guys to enjoy.
I´ll begin tearing it down this afternoon, stay tuned for another update!
I agree.
It looks like it has been through hell, which makes it look all the more awesome and stand out all that much more. I have noticed a lot of packs look brand new. Yours could pass off as one that has been rebuilt once or twice or salvaged from a blown up pack or two.
Really cool job so far.

I think I´ll weather the ■■■■ out of this once again, liked the look.
And yeah, there are far to many “new” packs out there for my liking.
And now, on to some pics!
Here it is, stripped of all its paint.
And holes are being filled, aswell as moved more to my liking.
Filled some more holes here, and redid the top weld.
Holes filled, and bargraph hole adjusted…built a frame for the bargraph (not in the pics)
Here are the self tapping screws that holds the rear handle in place.
Also, I had a lot of epoxi-dough.
Snapshot where you can see the coupling I jammed in the gun body/front handle mount.
The filled hole in the barrel houses a screw to stop the twisting in time.
Dremeled out a groove in the coupling that the screw runs in.
Sunken screws that holds the actual barrel to the coupling that allows it to rotate.
Could´nt get the last one out, therefor I can´t show you guys the inside very well.
Here you can se the end of the threaded pipe and coupling.
You can also see the ■■■■■■■ screw, and the setscrew.
And here it´s all blasted silver, semi-satin black next.
Here you can also see the bargraph frame.
Constructed in the simplest of ways…cut off zip tied, and puttied the seams.
I actually painted the black yesterday aswell, but did´nt take any pics of it.
Will however post pics of the progress BEFORE weathering.
Also, I began installing the Jupiter Light Kit yesterday.
The Jupiter kit looks amazing and all.
But however, one light confuses me.
I got an amber static LED, where the heck is that supposed to go?
I don’t think he provides the gun ear light as standard, so that amber LED is for the hat light at the front of the gun box (under the gun knob by the Clippard).
Thanks, that was what I thought, so I installed it there.
Major update time!
Long time, no update…shame on me!
So, here´s a picfest for you folks.
Jupiter Light kit installed.
Epoxied a bit of wood into place, that I screwed the circuit board on to.
Also seen here is the Flashlight vent “mod” that I´ve stole from this forum.
Top light attached, held in place by itself and one drop of super glue.
Hat light beneath the Clippard and knob, held in place by the taped wire…works fine.
And here´s a neat little bundle of wires going out the back.
Here it is with stickers, all black!
Already a bit weathered by the abuse of existing in the same space as my ´59 Ford.
The “Danger” sticker NOT upside down, that detail always annoyed me.
And yet another one…no, I don´t think I´ll be having the orange hat light in front.
Have´nt decided yet though, kind of liked that one.
Dry rubs will be ordered next week, if they are not gone until then.
And I actually like the big hose connectors…don´t know if I will keep them or not.
Clippard modded from an idea that I stole from someone on this forum…sawed the cap off, got rid of the threaded pole, drilled out a bit in the valve and in the cap.
Then I simply epoxied a fitting, sawed off bolt into place.
I think it turned out pretty good, what do you guys think?
Ordered the Crix soundboard and Pack lights, and my shell and other parts might be arriving this week I hope. 
Nice! Even just a simple sign with the logo on it brings a smile to my face. It’s nothing fancy no, but dammit i’m proud every time I see that classic logo hanging up for all to see and admire!
Nice build. I must admit i prefer the cleaner look to the really weathered style. If youd like a new heatsink though let me know.

It´s more weathered now, but not as much as the last paint/weathering job.
I´ll get back to you on that heatsink!
Now things are coming togehther.
Got a BIG parcel from Nick on the way with shell, and a lot of other parts.
Also, I bought a ■■■■■■■■ of stuff off eBay, and waiting on a Soundboard and packlights from Crix.
With any luck, I should be ready before Halloween!
Parts should be begin to fall in next week, so watch this thread for updates!
Santa came early this year!
Got my shell, bumper, booster frame, and various parts from Nick today.
Crix sound and lights arrived last week, and got my stuff off of eBay.
Now I think I have everything to complete my build!
Will do a picture update friday, if all goes well.
