we found rorschach in the crowd, he was stoked there were actually other watchmen there
overall, hanging with my buddies was a good time. it was just too packed to go anywhere and do stuff. i got into three fights and was punched in the face. because it was so packed everyone was really at everyone’s throats. and it made me sick to my stomach when id walk to a silk spectre 2 and ask her “who’s your daddy?” and she looked at me like she hadnt a clue what i was.

Proton charging-- those Watchmen costume are pretty freakin’ sick. It’s from last year, but here’s me as Rorschach. This was before the HYPE for the movie even began, so I feel you on people not knowing who you are or how to respond to the getup. The entire night, everyone thought I was the invisible man. It wasn’t until I went to this local nerd bar that I got good responses, (note to everyone-- if you haven’t found your local nerd bar, I highly recommend it)! I see from your Booster Gold avatar that you are a comic guy, (a DC guy, no less! Cheers, as we are a RARE breed)!
The mask was two layers of white leg stockings. The first layer has small holes cut so I can see, the outer layer has none. The pattern on the outer layer was drawn on with fabric marker. Since there were no holes on the outer layer and it was black, it was pretty tough for someone to see the eye holes. It gave a really cool effect in person. Much better then the store bought masks they offer now.
Bonus points-- can you tell which panel from the comic I took the mask pattern from?
you betcha. i literally walked out of the theater. went home. and started drawing plans.(well, i visited my ex girlfriend got shit from her, then went home and worked on plans) i just finished it a week before halloween, i was done 2 weeks before, but i figured i should add pecs and the bumpy lines to the chest armor.
i helped ozy with his too, but he drew up his own plans, i was plastic melting, moral support, and a sounding board for costume ideas.
i cant name the panel. i either want to say its the one where he smiles, or has a violent new continent. your mask plans is what i saw alot of plans for, i just wasnt sure how it worked. did you see pretty good out of it? i saw people use 2 layers of black, and last white. all different ways to do it.
