Very nice!
Here are a couple from our night out. They were taken at the end of the night right before we were leaving to go home.

Thats killer, Amanda!
Sorry ya didn’t win any cash prize KC, but in that crowd even being recognised is a worthy prize!
Ya, the guy claimed he “Broke” his proton pack and decided not to bring it. I complimented the chick on wearing it right side up and not being a lemming and wearing it the way the doofus model wore it on the packaging.
There was a third guy there in a Ghostbusters t-shirt. I told him I liked his costume better than the other guy!
…but not the chick…

Great pics! I find it especially cool because my surname is “Hall”, too!
Some photoshop fun in this first one. Might redo it to make the blast streams better.
Didn’t do a whole lot this year, so not too many pictures, but:
A couple at school on friday. I got lots of compliments on my pack.
And a couple friday night:
My pack isn’t super accurate, but it got the job done, and won me best costume of the night easily.
BILLY MAYS HERE WITH DRUNKEN GHOSTBUSTING!
I’ll start by saying that this Halloween marked the culmination of a 25-year-old dream. I’ve wanted a proton pack ever since I saw Ghostbusters on the big screen back in 1984 (actually I’ve wanted an Ectomobile maybe a tad more, but one thing at a time, yah?) so I decided that this year would be it. I would have that pack, dagnabbit.
Throughout the year I started scratchbuilding a pack, using elements for Venkman71’s plans, Stefan’s plans, and Gareee’s packs. As fate would have it time ran out before I got the thrower done as well as much of the cosmetic wiring. But danged if it didn’t come together by Thursday the 29th, which was our community’s designated “beggar’s night” since having trick-or-treating on Halloween is apparently not meant to be. This is how I greeted the children of my small Midwestern city:
On Friday I wore the outfit to work, which for me is Netflix central operations. I was only one of a few who dressed up. It may have been that “official” approval to wear costumes was announced a couple of days earlier in the week, but I was easily the most overdressed in the whole facility. Of course, I planned to wear the outfit regardless… The pack stayed on for an hour before I moved to another task that required sitting, so the pack remained in the maintenance area for the reast of the day. It was rather nice to walk through the 2nd shift folks at the end of the day, not saying a word and drinking in the appreciative comments. I just acted like what I had on wasn’t anything out of the ordinary.
On Friday night I attended the nigh-midnight showing of Ghostbusters at Studio 35 in Columbus OH. I had the opportunity to briefly meet with members of the Real Ohio Ghostbusters. This would be the only part of the weekend where I actually felt underdressed, being in the presence of pristine packs replete with Exoray light kits while I made do with less than $3 of Halloween lights that just flashed and an almost complete lack of wiring and tubing. But fun was had, potential contacts made, and I even won a gigantic Slimer Fathead (vinyl wall decoration) that I still don’t know if I even have the proper space to display.

(I’m at far right)
Final stop for the weekend would be a smallish Halloween party in Athens OH, home of one of the state’s most notorious campus parties. On our drive down we saw over a dozen traffic stops by police, state troopers and sheriff’s deputies, a hallmark of the lowered tolerance towards non-students of Ohio University coming in to make trouble. Again I felt overdressed, as most of the partygoers were faculty and faculty spouses, but at least there were no cop-out store-bought costumes.
I do wish we’d made it uptown, into the belly of the beast that is Halloween at Ohio University, but that time will come I’m sure. It’s my hope that by that time I will be fully upgraded to Syco’s Arduino kit!
lmao!! Billllllyyy!!! XD Some great pics guys! Keep em coming!

Bad Waldo…
Thanks.
It’s so funny, she is still SO proud of her new M&M machine. LOL
Seriously?
This year was weird, everyone have Halloween parties and events on all the other days in October except for the actual Halloween Day.
I had trouble in finding a Halloween party to go to on Halloween day!
OMG! That have to be the best Transformer costume I have ever seen! I wonder how long it took him to make it?
That scene is a classic!
Here’s my Halloween pictures!
With my cheapo proton pack!
It’s about 50% complete. It’s a cross between the movie version and the video game version. This is actually my 2nd version since the 1st version was a disaster.
Couple of highlights, I used the newer version of the flashlight that uses LEDs.
This is the first time I seen someone dress up as… well… take a look and you will see… here’s a clue… It has something to do with the Church of… and no, it’s not a priest or a nun… take a look…
At the end, you will see how my equipment looks after the whole thing was over… I am glad the proton pack held up toward the end. After that, the gun mount and the gun is starting to fall apart. Next Halloween, I will make the gun mount and the gun out of wood instead of cardboard. The PKE meter start to worn out and the paint starts to fall off.
My daughter as Hawkgirl…
Wy wife…
Bar stuff…
This girl was grabbing my ass REALLY hard, hence the look on my face. :walterpeck:

I have a few pics of me at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, the weekend before Halloween. That is typically what they call the “Day of Wrong”, where people come dressed as pretty much anything… it’s like a Medieval Halloween Party. hehe.. the last pic is me at an actual Halloween event.
I have arrived!
Yep, have the Ghost Trap and Pedal (Finished the night before!)
Better side view..
Even ghosts like to pose with a Ghostbuster… heh
At a party Halloween night. Personally, I liked the guy in the Spaceballs Barf costume. Didn’t get a pic though. ![]()
I LOVE that slime blower. Looks like you made use of the nickalodeon slime gun. That caught my eye in walmart last year so i bought it with plans to make a slime blower. Its still sitting in the box. I must get around to this some day. what all did you use?
